dreams do come true...we are the proud parents of an aspiring actor! from the time clay was talking he enjoyed making others laugh and began to dream of becoming an actor. last week clay had his first real (2 hour) audition with the Missoula Children's Theater for Frog Prince. there were about 110 kids (6-17 year olds) at the audition and only about 50 kids were cast for the play. the audition itself was a great experience and a lot of fun. clay did a great job and was chosen to be in the flytraps group. he rehearsed for a total of 8 hours over the next four days. yesterday he had a dress rehearsal and two performances which lasted for a total of 10 hours! he may need to consider his own blog because he has another audition in two weeks for Peter Pan! there is great joy as a parent when your child has dreams and ambitions, so i guess you could say that both his dreams and mine came true on this night.
