1....57 years ago today, she was the first girl born to her parents in Michigan. 2....she has 3 brothers and two sisters. her dad died shortly after she was married and her mom lives in a home near her and has alzheimer's disease. 3....she married my dad, her high school sweetheart, on March 22, 1968. 4....she has three daughters, 3 sons-in-laws, 5 grand daughters and 3 grand sons. 5....she lives today in the same house that she raised her children in. 6....she has played pinnocle with the same group of ladies since i was very young. 7....she loves others even when they don't deserve it--unconditionally. 8....she is beautiful and wise. 9....she is selfless and puts everyone needs ahead of her own. 10...6 months ago, she was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. 11...she is strong and stubborn (she gets this from me!) 12...she is the best Nana ever! 13...she is everything that i want to be! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM a.k.a. NANA!! |
