...the snow came down hard for over 5 hours at our house today and more importantly it is serenity's 10th birthday! my kids had so much fun today, building a snowman with daddy, throwing snowballs (although damon prefers if you miss him!), drinking hot chocolate, making snow angels and playing with the neighbor kids who were ditching school - who would want to be indoors on a day like this! i am looking forward to the colder weather (and our fireplace) in prescott valley, just yesterday they got a foot of snow! we will have no choice but to buy snow boots and lots of hot chocolate! this snow puts a slight glitch in my bike ride for today although my sweet husband thinks it would be fun to watch me try to make it down our icy street!
